It’s always exciting when a luxury automaker like Genesis comes out with an entirely new model, so it should come as no surprise that the forthcoming Genesis GV70 compact SUV is already generating a significant amount of positive buzz.
While every Genesis car is worthy of hype and praise, we’re especially excited about the Genesis GV70 here at Genesis of Wilkes-Barre for a number of reasons.
Lavish, High-Quality Interior
One of the main things to get excited about is this vehicle’s interior, which offers several color options, high-quality materials, and a sleek, modern design. The instrument panel is uncluttered and technologically advanced, and the infotainment system boasts a large screen and practical usability. Add in upper-trim luxuries like Nappa leather, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360-egree camera system, and this will be a fun SUV to own and drive.
Performance
While the exact performance numbers still have not been announced, we’ve been told to expect something similar to the Genesis GV80, which boasts a 300-hp twin-turbo four-cylinder engine or a 375-hp V6. Either option gives this vehicle plenty of muscle, especially when complemented by a camera-based adaptive suspension for real-time improved ride and handling.
Driver-Assistance Technology
The advanced suite of safety features is another boon, highlighted by lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, and remote parking assistance. There’s even a new radar-based rear occupant alert system, which detects when a sleeping infant is breathing in the back seats—an excellent feature for parents.
Awaiting the Arrival of the Genesis GV70
While there is no release date for this Genesis car yet, we do know it is earmarked to be a 2022 model year vehicle due for release sometime in 2021. We can’t wait for it to get here, and we’re sure our customers in and around Wilkes-Barre, PA are excited about it, too!
